tda interiors has been successfully delivering commercial refurbishment and fit out projects since 1988. We operate out of 6 vibrant locations in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in Australia, and internationally Guildford in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. Our international presence has given us a unique platform from which to develop our global brand and identity. TDA’s Construction Management Methodology

tda uses a fully documented management system that has been audited by a consultant to Lloyds Register and certified as complying with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000. More information about tda’s Quality Assurance and management systems can be found in the Quality Assurance section in this document.

Proactive Approach to Communication

As part of the quality process, tda conducts Project Control Group (PCG) meetings on a weekly basis (held on site) regardless of the size of project. The meetings involve the Client, tdaProject Manager, tda Site Manager and regular attendance by a member of tda’s executive to enable efficient and effective decision making at site level.

Recognising the importance of effective communication and the fact that email is the tool of choice for most project communications, tda utilise an Internal Project Group (IPG) email

address that is provided to the client as the primary email address for all project related communications between the organisations.  A key inclusion of all IPG’s is tda director, Mr. Andrew Holder. The benefit to the client is that all project related communication passes through tda’s executive leadership.

 

Project Planning

tda’s experienced construction managers live and breathe the projects they direct. As the key interface between the client, architect or designer, trades persons and vendors, our

project managers conduct the symphony of a project with all of the timing and coordination of a Broadway production.

Our project managers make it their business to ensure that they are involved in every aspect of a project from the occupational health and safety controls to overseeing the different choices of floor coverings or paint schemes.

Only with this level of involvement can they truly ensure that no single activity by any of the project participants is going to adversely affect another. With wisdom that can only be acquired through gritty experience they have the foresight to recognise conflicts in scheduling that would otherwise lead to expensive variations or trade activity clashes.
